Tinkergarten is gearing up for fall with a fun new curriculum. This Fall, we'll have a running play theme of SCIENTIST! Each week we'll explore, learn and play while expanding on the scientist theme. As always, Tinkergarten will focus on one of the twelve core skills designed to get your child ready for life, ready to learn, and ready for anything. This fall the focus skill is SENSORY PLAY to perfectly compliment the weekly "experiments" your explorer will encounter. Your child will have the best time creating, playing, discovering, and unwittingly LEARNING in class!
Tinkergarten is a unique parent child class because the play is child led. There is a curriculum- meaningful learning takes place, children build social, emotional, and executive functioning skills which will help prepare them for school, but it doesn't FEEL like class. Research shows real learning takes place through play and joyful discovery and that's EXACTLY what explorers (kids) and guides (adults) will find in a Tinkergarten class. Best of all classes take place in you local park so you get high quality time with your child in the best classroom of all... nature!
