It's not easy being a parent right now. Faced with difficult choices regarding school, activities, work, mental health... and none of our choices are ideal; there always seems to be something missing no matter which option you choose. So here's my PSA:
You're doing great. Whatever choice you make will be the right one.
Let's all try to give ourselves (and each other) a little grace. No one is prepared for this and no one likes these options, but our kids are watching and we're going to do what good parents always do- make it okay for them. The "how" may look different for everyone, but try and find some time this morning to breathe, count to ten, and then go with your gut. Whatever you decide will be right for your family and your situation. And if it's not, you can always course correct along the way. You won't be alone, no matter which road you choose.
