Pottstown Regional Public Library Announces Winter Reading Challenge

Participate to win prizes and cure the winter blues.

January 8, 2021

Pottstown Regional Public Library opened it's 2021 Winter Reading Challenge this week. Full of fun and chances to win prizes, this is the perfect activity for these winter months.  If you have an avid reader or a child who needs a little competitive inspiration to pick up a book, you'll want to register.  The winter challenge is unique because it combines reading challenges with fun activities you can complete together- like enjoying a nice cup of hot cocoa!  Scroll down for a look at the 20 badges your child can earn this winter.

How it works:

1). Sign up for the challenge.  Upon registration, each child will be given a bag with goodies- including a reading buddy!

2). Complete as many of the 20 "badges" as possible now through Feb. 27th.

3). For each badge earned, you'll receive a ticket.

4). Submit your tickets for a chance to win one of 5 grand prizes! Tickets may be spread out or cast all for one prize.

5). Completion Badge- when all 20 challenges have been completed, collect your completion prize!

This challenge can be completed at home and tracked via Beanstack (PPL.Beanstack.org).  If your family already has an account from the Summer Reading Program, you'll just need to log in.  If you are new to the site you'll need to make a free account.
