Holy Cross Regional Catholic in Collegeville has been a staple of our community for years, offering high-quality education for students Pre-K through 8th grade.  They are known for caring staff, top-notch academic standards, and a faith-based curriculum. Last spring, when the pandemic hit, HCRC rose to the challenge immediately and has remained a leader since, causing even more local families to trust Holy Cross with their child's education.   The reasons why are easy to see: safety, innovative and dedicated teaching staff, in-person learning, and full day Pre-K and Kindergarten options.

Safety is top of mind for parents all of the time, but 2020 brought new safety challenges to the forefront. When preparing to open this Fall, Holy Cross Regional Catholic wanted to make sure they took as many safety precautions as possible to help protect students, teachers, and staff.  First, they quickly invested in a large stock of PPE and cleaning supplies and purchased electrostatic fog machines to sanitize the classrooms each night.  Still, they hoped to add additional protection in the form of desk shields.  When it looked like cost may put the shields out of reach for the school, a generous family stepped up and graciously covered the cost.  Now, each desk (and long preschool tables) are outfitted with three-sided plastic shield, sturdily affixed for the continued protection of everyone.  Their investment in covid precautions and protocols paid off in a big way, as the school has been open for in-person classes since August.  Holy Cross is grateful to the dedication of their staff, the innovation of their teachers, and the generosity of the donors who have made the desk shields possible.

Of course, not all families are ready for in-person learning just yet.  Because Holy Cross has always integrated technology into the classroom and had "snow day" virtual learning plans in place, it was a seamless and easy transition last March when the school switched to virtual learning. Over the summer, Holy Cross made any needed adjustments to virtual learning plans and is able to offer both in-person or fully virtual learning.  This means families of all comfort levels can enjoy the quality Catholic education provided by Holy Cross Regional Catholic

If Holy Cross Regional Catholic sounds like it will be a good fit for your family, you'll want to act fast.  Registration opens on January 31st and full-day Preschool and Kindergarten are expected to fill quickly.  Keep an eye on the website for a virtual tour and upcoming virtual open house options to have all your questions answered.
