Newborn Sessions with Amy

As a new parent, there's one phrase you're told over & over- "Don't blink". It can a hard one to fully appreciate as you're bleary-eyed from sleepless nights and trying to adjust to life as a parent, but a few years in, and every parent knows just how accurate that simple advice is. We blink & they're walking, then chatting away, then hopping on the bus- waving goodbye as they hang with their friends. Blink again and suddenly you've got a teenager in your house and you're looking forward to graduation. It's no wonder we often look for ways to "keep them little" - after all, they'll never be as small as they are today.

One of the easiest ways to preserve these days is with photos. Sure, there are candids, but capturing those newborn details (not to mention getting baby to cooperate) is a job best left to the professionals. Through the lens, photographers are able to capture the beauty of your newest addition & the loving bond already established with your new family. Whether it's a posed photo or a lighting test shot that catches a sweet moment between new siblings; these are the photos you'll find framed on your dresser- and maybe even stashed away in that suitcase as they head out on their own in eighteen years.

Moments By Amy is currently booking newborn sessions for June & July expected arrivals. At her in-home studio she will take the time to walk you through the process, listen to what your vision is, and help to make those newborn photos everything you've hoped.
