The Dance Effect Performing Arts Center in Spring City is open and ready to meet your family this fall! Whether you're looking for a year-long experience or just a few classes to see try out a new interest, TDE has an option for your family. Owner Angelica Palmer is proud to offer a wide range of classes starting at just 2 years old! From high energy, gross motor development Mini Monkey classes to pre-teen Academy Ballet en pointe, she strives to offer a range of styles. Brand new this year are lyrical and a junior hip-hop class- a can't miss for boys and girls looking to bust a move.
What we love most about The Dance Effect is how easy they make it for parents. Kids aren't one size fits all and neither is dance. Have a prima ballerina? A funky monkey? A future acrobat? There's a class for that, no need to force tights and a tutu for a little girl who just wants to shake her sillies out in a jazz class. Flexibility also makes life easier in both class times and enrollment tracks. TDE offers a "Discovery" tract that enrolls from session to session. This gives new dancers a chance to see if they like it without a long-term commitment, it gives dancers the option to try out new styles to find what's right for them, and it gives families flexibility if schedules change in the coming months. The other tract is the "Academy". These dancers enroll for the season, classes touch on a few genres to make well-rounded dancers, and tuition is all-inclusive- recital too! Finally, and most important, TDE makes it easy to feel at home. Speaking from personal experience, it's easy to drop off my daughter for class. She is happy to be there, excited to learn, and feels the warmth of connection as a part of the #TDEFamily.
