Brand New Fall Farm Experience Now Open!

Cedar Hollow Farm welcomes families to make new traditions at the farm.

October 15, 2021

Looking for a fun family fall experience this year?  Cedar Hollow Farm may be just the ticket!  Open to the public for the first time this year, treat your family to a pumpkin patch with real pumpkins- on the vine!  Owner, Matt Ventrella explains, “We want to share the beauty and bounty of our land with our friends and neighbors.  We will be open Saturdays and Sundays 10AM-5PM through Halloween with our fall harvest activities for the whole family”.  There is an 8 acre interactive corn maze, sponsored by Leidy’s Premium Meats, a huge pick-your-own pumpkin patch, pedal kart track, picnic area and more!  The farm market is stocked with their homegrown pastured chickens, free-range eggs, local produce, fresh apple cider from Kauffman’s Fruit Farm, as well as local and artisan crafted food products and gifts.  You will also be able to pick up everything you need for your fall harvest decorating, including straw bales, corn stalks, crafts and candles.  With so many items, there is something for everyone!

Why haven't you heard of this wonderful place before?!  Well, there's a good reason. The 80 acre farm was purchased by the Ventrella Family in 2020.  They've been busy cleaning and getting ready for visitors while raising their young family- talk about a family adventure! The farm features the original stone farmhouse and German Style bank barn both dating back to the early 1800s.  Cedar Hollow Farm is also home to a large flock of free-range chickens, raised on pasture for both their eggs and meat, sheep, pigs, alpacas and a pair of friendly and photogenic Muscovy ducks Ritz and Saltine, or as they like to call them, the “Quackers”.

The Ventrella family is thrilled to welcome your family to their new home and hope you make new family traditions Cedar Hollow Farm right along with them.
