August is here and Willow Grove Park is gearing up for it's second Kids Play event! This month beat the heat with local favorite children's performer Lolly! Willow Grove Park is proud to offer Kids Play- a free community monthly event right in the mall. School will be starting soon, so it's the perfect time to spend an afternoon at the mall having fun and crossing items off your back to school list. In addition to Kids Play on the 17th, there will be a Back to School Get Together held on Saturday, August 20th featuring music, crafts, snow cones, and more!
This month's featured Kids Play preformer is Lolly Hopwood. Lolly has delighted kids across the nation with her fun, original songs. She'll have everyone up, dancing, and having a blast during her kids concert. Lolly's imaginative show is interactive; which means your kids will actually get to participate and be a part of the show! She'll bring parachutes, puppets, bubbles, pom poms and all the things kids love best to delight and entertain for an afternoon your kids will be talking about all week. Kids Play events are held on the 1st floor near Macy's; however, participants should use the 1 Main Entrance located between TGI Fridays and Express upon arrival.
On Saturday, August 20th, make plans to visit Willow Grove Park again for a fun Back to School Get Together. You won't want to miss out on all the weekend fun as businesses (and families!) prep for the start of a new school year. Plus, you can help out kids in need. Simply bring school supplies to donate and you'll be entered to win a prize! Wondering what to expect at the Get Together? Here's a list of activities for the event:

Be sure to mark your calendars for the 3rd Wednesday each month now through October (8/17, 9/21, 10/19) as Willow Grove Park will be hosting Kids Play events monthly! Kids Play is free, open to the public, and does not require pre-registration. Kids Play events offer free kid's entertainment, coloring, light refreshments, and even a discount card from supporting mall businesses. Make an afternoon of it by attending the show, get in a bit of back to school shopping, and grab lunch- an air conditioned afternoon parents and kids will enjoy!
