Anytime a package arrives on our porch my kids go nuts, but my five-year-old made out the word "toys" on the packaging, so the anticipation was over the top as we brought it inside for the grand opening.
Now, the five-year-old has a few learning games and a reading pad – which my three-year-old is fairly jealous of, so the Level Up Gaming Chair couldn't be a more perfect fit for her. Finally she was going to have her own learning chair – and it's just her size! She couldn't be more thrilled.

Set up was a breeze as the parts easily snap together and the tablet came ready to use. My girl took her place on her new "throne" and dove right in. The tablet is very user friendly and she was bouncing through modules in minutes. She especially liked the letter recognition game and showing us all how she can find the "H" – her favorite letter. After bedtime, I had a chance to check it out myself. Here are a few things I appreciate about the Level Up Gaming Chair:
- It's well made. Low to the ground and sturdy, it feels substantial and I'm not worried about parts snapping off or the chair easily tipping.
- The tablet is easy to remove. This is huge for us because now she can take her tablet in the car or to another room to play without needing to take the rest of the chair along.
- When removed, the tablet leaves behind a tray that's perfect for snack time, drawing, or playing with her treasures.
- Easy to clean. The tablet and chair can both be wiped down and sanitized.
- Multi-functional. As a mom, I know space is at a premium and I don't need toys cluttering up the house. This chair is already proving to be worth the small space it does use. It's great for gaming and learning time, but my daughter also loves relaxing in it, having a snack and sometimes even watching TV from her new favorite chair.
- It only takes two AA batteries and they're easy to access.
- Two learning levels. This is a perfect "grow with me" toy. Easily transition from playing music and learning animal sounds to letters and early phonics style modules.
- It's WiFi Free. Because do we really need another connected device? No.
- My daughter loves it. It's given her a sense of ownership and pride that the chair is "just for her."
