It's not done yet! Locals were disappointed to see the Regal Cinema close this spring, but the building won't be empty for long! Valley Forge Promotions, who also own Arnold's Fun Center and the American Treasure Tour Museum has purchased the property and plan to re-open it better than before! The new name for the building will be the Oaks Center and it will undergo a massive transformation.
The new owners are hard at work hoping to get an arcade and movies back in Oaks as soon as August 2023. However, that's just the beginning! The long term plan for the building is to expand the arcade section, add laser tag, mini bowling, corporate meeting space, live theater, and much more! All of these plans sound wonderful, but especially the stage. This will give options for live theater, music concerts, and even comedy events right in Oaks! This is a two phased plan, so we'll have to sit tight for the full experience, but keep an eye out for movies to be available again this summer.
