Whether it's snowing or raining outside, the pool at Kids First Swim School of Plymouth Meeting is always a balmy 90 degrees and ready to welcome your guests for a party all are sure to enjoy. Kids First is now booking parties for the remainder of summer and into fall & winter. As many parents know, choosing a venue for your child's birthday party can be a bit stressful. We have to take into consideration the weather, number of kids, child's interests, and of course budget. With all that in mind, here's what you need to know about a swim party.
Venue
Kids First Swim School of Plymouth Meeting offers private parties for you family and friends to celebrate. For those planning a winter party, an indoor venue is a must. However, indoor pools can take the stress out of weather watching during the summer months as well. Nothing's worse than planning a fun outdoor party only to have Mother Nature ruin your plans. Parties have private access to the facility, meaning there are no other swimmers in the pool or locker room. There are also no restrictions on entertainment- so bring floats, music, and decorate as you please.
Party Logistics
Swim parties are 2 or 3 hours in length. The first half of the party is in the pool where they'll play games, enjoy pool toys, and have fun with friends. You'll then have time for food, cake, & presents. Bring your own food, so you can be sure the birthday child has all their favorites! A certified lifeguard, chairs, tables, and party clean up are all included. You can also make the party a bit magical by adding a mermaid who will come swim with the kids, play games, etc.
Popularity
Just about every kids loves to swim, or at least splash in the water. Which is exactly why swim parties are so popular! Swimmers of all ages & experience levels are welcome (kids under 3 need an adult in the pool at all times). Finally, the pool at Kids First is safe for all ages as it has sections only 2ft deep and goes to 4'9" so pool parties are appropriate for toddlers through teens. Cost
Time to get down to brass tacks. Parties at Kids First Plymouth Meeting are $325 for current students ($400 for non-enrolled) for 25 swimmers. Which, compared to other indoor party venues, is quite reasonable. Many places include 10 kids, which means you have to pay extra or make hard choices on who to invite. The 25 swimmers at Kids First gives you the flexibility to invite the whole class! PLUS, non swimmers like grandma are welcome to attend the party at no additional cost. Larger parties (more than 25 swimmers) can book an additional lifeguard for $100.
