School is back in session, fall is on the horizon, which means dance classes across the area will be kicking into full gear- (pun totally intended)! Our friends at The Dance Effect PAC have once again pulled out all the stops to make sure this year is even better than the last. With tons of class options, short-term 6 week or year long commitments, and flexible scheduling- moms might just love TDE as much as their dancers. When it comes to dance classes- there are a ton of options. For my family, TDE is our dance home. It's comfortable, the owner teaches many classes herself, the other staff are also kind and nurturing and the kids, most importantly, have FUN!
The Dance Effect has skilled teachers who give a wonderful dance education. At the same time, it is a warm and welcoming environment. If your child is nervous about starting dance for the first time or didn't enjoy a previous experience, this might just be the place for you. If you have a little one constantly bopping to the music now is the time to sign him up for a 6 week session. It's fun to explore and see not just their interest, but their confidence grow! Parents are treated to in studio "watch weeks" as well as mini performances throughout the year. Additionally, all enrolled dancers are invited to preform at the holiday showcase in December at no additional cost! Finally, at the end of the year, there is a main recital where your child will show off all they're worked on throughout the year.
This year's class options include:
- Dance with Me (Parent/child class)
- Itty Bitty Ballerinas (age 2+)
- Princess Ballerinas (3-5)
- Funky monkeys (3-5)
The Following Options are Offered to Dancers 5 (typically Kindergarten) and up:
- Dance Adventures (Jazz and Tap)
- Acro Dance (dance mixed with gymnastics)
- Hip Hop
- Ballet
- Jazz
- Tap
- Lyrical
