Holiday picture time is coming and soon those interested in getting photos will be in one of two camps 1). flooded with options and trying to narrow down the perfect location/set/date/photographer combo or 2). waited too long and find yourself asking why mall photo lines are so long and so expensive. Let's chat about Cool Yule. Each year, our friend Tara at at Silver Orchid Photography brings more than a little holiday magic to the area. And by holiday magic, sure there's Letter writing to Santa, music, crafts and visits with Santa- BUT there's a also special holiday magic for moms.... less stress. Cool Yule gives so many options for sets, dates and activities it's three clicks and you're done. By now, Cool Yule works like a well oiled machine giving parents the picture perfect holiday card shot and kids a day of fun they'll actually look forward to with minimal complaining (hopefully) about their outfit.
This year, there are three Cool Yule locations to choose from. First, a day at the Tree Farm at Buck Nursery in Pennsburg where extended family mini sessions will be taken. Second is the studio located in the heart of Skippack Village. Studio sessions include additional time with Santa and Mrs. Claus and are the only location offering reindeer shoots! After your session take a stroll through beautiful Skippack Village, do some shopping or grab a bite to make it a special evening for all. The final option is my personal favorite- Cross Gables Estate in Exton. Here Cool Yule is a magical place where the photos are quick, the kids are entertained, the adults are fed, and moms get those coveted yearly family photos to cherish. There will be live music, kids activities, and refreshments to make it a full family experience.
Start a new holiday tradition this year with Cool Yule! Getting started is easy. Decide which of the 9 options you're interested in; there's no rule against booking more than one if you can't decide between baking cookies with Mrs. Claus or buying adorable matching PJs for the Night Before Christmas set! Check available times and book your session. Choose your outfits and arrive to enjoy the Experience on the day of your photos. When it's your turn, the staff will lead you to set for your 10 minute session. You'll receive ALL digital images (with print release) in just a couple weeks- plenty of time for holiday cards and gifts. Keep a look out for special print and photo gift options!
