Outdoor pools are closed for the winter which can be a sad time for those of us with kids who are part fish. But they (and you!) will be happy to learn the indoor pool at Kids First Swim School Plymouth Meeting is most certainly open and ready for swimmers. Now, if you have a kid with gills you may be thinking a swim school isn't the right fit for your family, no matter how much they miss the water- they already know how to swim. But, if your swimmer is interested in joining a swim team or is already on one, but wants to spend the off season honing their skill set, now is the perfect time to register for developmental swim team classes.
Kids First Swim School Plymouth Meeting is proud to offer classes for everyone, from infants through centennials, but there is so much more available aside from learning to swim. The developmental swim team classes are a wonderful resource for anyone who already has the basics down. Students in the developmental group will learn the mechanics of each of the four strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Developmental swimmers also work on swimming longer distances, treading water, and spending longer stretches of time in the water. They'll learn proper technique as well as tips and tricks to make them glide through the water even faster than before.
Developmental swim team classes are open to swimmers of various ages, but should be at a level 5 (strong independent swimmer) before beginning these courses.
