One of my girls favorite weeks of the summer is dance camp week. Last year, my younger daughter attended the Miss Angelica's Dollhouse (Gabby's Dollhouse) week and my oldest still isn't quite over being just a tad jealous. Not only was there tons of dancing, but each day she came home with a craft. The crafts were on theme, unique to the day and high quality. Finally, on Friday we all experienced the big in-house show. Our dancers got to show off all the moves they learned throughout the week complete with costumes and props! This year, needless to say, my girls will be attending dance camp together. Since summer schedules can be hectic and we can't always commit to weekly activities The Dance Effect offers a range of options to dance all summer long. First up are one day workshops designed to improve your skills. Choose from lyrical, Rockettes, or Sidelines (think cheer/dance team). Crafterinas are a great way to bring a pop of fun to your summer routine. Dancers enjoy an hour of crafting, dancing, and burning off tons of energy. For those who would like a consistent weekly activity, check out summer dance classes. Ballet, hip hop, acro, jazz, tap will all be offered. Finally, themed weekly camps for a full emersion experience!

Our daily ballet classes will introduce the magical tale of Clara and the Nutcracker Prince as they journey to the Land of Sweets. Dancers will have a daily ballet technique and stretch class plus a daily variations class where they will learn the choreography to become the different sweets Clara meets on her journey.
