The Literacy Council of Norristown is proud to announce a partnership with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library! Many of you may know of Dolly's Imagination Library program, an initiative to put books into the hands of little ones. Each year, the organization distributes thousands of books across the nation in partnership with local sponsors. The program is offered to children from birth through five who receive a free book each month. The only caveat is the child must live in a zip code served by the Imagination Library, which relies on community partners to support the program.
The Literacy Council of Norristown, which has served the community for more than 40 years, has recently stepped into the role of sponsor to bring the program to Norristown and Pottstown residents. Any child (ages 0-5) who live in one of the following zip codes are eligible to join the program at no cost. Available zip codes are: 19401, 19403, 19405, 19406 and 19464. Anyone living in 19401, 19403, 19405, 19406 or 19464 with a 0-5 year old can sign up today and start receiving books from Dolly's Imagination Library!
